2. Product Authenticity

  • All gold jewellery sold is guaranteed to be authentic, hallmarked, and accurately described.
  • Variations in colour, texture, and detailing may occur due to the handcrafted nature of many pieces.
  • Gemstones, pearls, and traditional embellishments are sourced ethically where possible.

3. Pricing

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and may change without notice due to fluctuations in gold and gemstone markets.
  • Quoted prices exclude shipping fees, insurance, taxes, or custom duties unless otherwise stated.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time.

4. Orders & Availability

  • Orders are accepted subject to product availability.
  • For custom-made or bridal pieces, a non-refundable deposit may be required.
  • Lakshmis Jewellers reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. 

5. Payments

We accept the following payment methods:
Cash, bank transfer, EFT, approved payment gateways, or in-store card payments.

  • Payment must be made in full before an item is collected or shipped.
  • For custom orders, final payment is due before delivery or dispatch.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship locally and internationally using trusted courier partners.
  • Shipping fees, insurance, and customs charges (where applicable) are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates only; Lakshmis Jewellers is not liable for courier delays, customs inspections, or force majeure events.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Given the nature and value of jewellery:

  • No refunds are offered unless an item is defective under the Consumer Protection guidelines.
  • Exchanges may be offered at our discretion within 7 days of purchase and only if the item is unused, unworn, and in original condition with packaging and invoice.
  • Custom, altered, engraved, or personalised pieces are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

8. Product Care & Repairs

  • Proper care is essential to maintain the longevity of gold jewellery.
  • We offer cleaning, polishing, resizing, and repair services at standard rates.
  • Damage resulting from misuse, wear and tear, exposure to chemicals, or mishandling is not covered.

9. Warranty

  • All jewellery is inspected before sale.
  • A 6-month craftsmanship warranty is offered on manufacturing defects only.
  • The warranty excludes improper care, accidental damage, or third-party alterations.

10. Custom Orders

  • Once a custom design is approved, changes cannot be made without additional cost.
  • Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable.
  • Estimated completion times will be provided, but production timelines may vary based on complexity.

11. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy.
  • Personal information (name, contact details, measurements, order history) is used solely for order processing and customer service.
  • We do not sell or share personal information with third parties unless required by law.

12. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, images, logos, and product descriptions belong to Lakshmis Jewellers.
  • Reproduction or use without written permission is strictly prohibited.

13. Limitation of Liability

Lakshmis Jewellers is not responsible for:

  • Losses caused by courier delays
  • Damage due to improper handling after purchase
  • Allergic reactions to metals or alloy components
  • Misuse or unauthorised alterations

Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be handled in the jurisdiction of England and Wales.
